Taos Footwear is known for its style and comfort, but to get the most comfortable feel we are here to help you make sure that you buy the correct size. We have many styles of shoes. On each product page we do our best to describe the fit. We also suggest that you read the product reviews. The Taos community will help you understand if there are any unique features that you should be aware of for the fit on any shoe.
Questions regarding sizes and width of our footwear:
We currently only carry medium width whole sizes 6-11, European sizes 36-42 and half sizes 6.5, 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5 in select styles. As our company continues to grow we hope to make our shoes in all sizes and widths to accommodate our valued customers.
What are Taos' United States size equivalents for European sizes?
Which Taos styles are best for orthotics?
Taos offers most of its close toe shoes with a “removable footbed,” which are orthotic-friendly. Please check if a style has a removable insole by reading its additional information first to make sure.
Will Taos give me blisters?
Taos does not guarantee blister-free footwear. Blisters can be caused by a variety of things such as friction, perspiration (even the tiniest bit), or heat which is naturally created. The fit may not be proper according to your specific feet, resulting in discomfort and/or blistering.
Will Taos help my problematic feet?
We have a strict policy to never make claims regarding the medical or therapeutic efficacy of our footwear. We suggest consulting with a medical professional about appropriate footwear. What we can tell you is that we have received a great amount of feedback from our customers who are in a similar situations as you are. Feel free to visit your local retailer to receive a proper fitting, this will give you a better understanding of Taos Footwear.
