BUYER BEWARE

"HORRIBLE!! DO NOT BUY FROM TAOS!!!!! I had to fight for over a month to get a refund from their defective sandals. Stitching all wrong, different sized straps and shoe lengths, leather pulling and falling apart after 10 minutes. They had my shoes for over two weeks after I sent them back and I had to keep emailing checking on refund status. After 5 emails they denied my return. They only gave me my money back when I threatened to call the provincial consumer protection agency and do a credit card chargeback. DO NOT BUY!!! The hassle free return is the biggest joke in the world. Learn from my mistake, do a google search about the issues with this company. I cannot believe they are still in business. Truly unbelievable and unacceptable."

I would’ve loved this shoe

"I would’ve loved this shoe had it not been for the top strap rubbing the skin off both my feet. Now I have four symmetrical scabs on both feet. I can show you a picture of it. Otherwise, the footbed itself is wonderful and was great for walking. I took these with me on a trip and was excited to wear them. Alas, I ended up with bandaids all over the tops of my feet near my ankles. If it wasn’t for that, I would’ve walked in them for days!"

"Super comfy. Just seems like quality is not fully aligned with price. There are a couple of noticeable defects: very worn leather spots and uneven leather edges by stitching that highlights black underside."

Don’t buy these! The design

"Don’t buy these! The design is horrible. My strap was sewn incorrectly causing a bump on the baby toe. Super uncomfortable. The dye job was also streaky. And Taos did not stand behind their product. The warranty team blamed it on a fit issue which of course is not guaranteed so I am stuck with them. For $200 you’d think the quality would be better. I loved this company and recommended them all the time to friends. Not anymore. Sad that they don’t care about their customers."

Great Sandal for the right foot

"I wanted to love this sandal. It was very cute but the footbed didn’t work for me. There we not enough height in the heel to make the arch comfortably. I have pretty flat feet. So I returned for the Showtime which has more height in the heel and for my foot it was a more comfortable footbed."

Worst sandals ever

"The most expensive and most uncomfortable sandals I have ever worn. The metal pieces directly touch the skin around the ankle and cause cuts and bleeding. The strap around the toes is not adjustable and very uncomfortable. The shoes also caused huge blisters on the bottom of my feet after less than 1 hour of wear. I reached out to customer service and still haven't heard back. Very disappointed as thia was my first ever purchase from Toas - will never purchase again."

I own several pairs of

"I own several pairs of Taos sandals. They are well made and extremely comfortable. I wore them all over Europe and was extremely pleased with the performance and style of my sandals. I felt confident to order the Sideways sandals for my trip to Vietnam. Unfortunately the Sideways sandals run small so I had to send them back. It was very disappointing to order the same size as my other Taos sandals only to find the footbed was slightly shorter and a larger size is not available."

I’m really loving them so

"I’m really loving them so far! I was worried at first because the first time I wore them they were a bit uncomfortable. But after breaking them in for a few days they’re great. I have pretty flat feet so I think it took a bit for my feet to get used to having arch support ;). But they’re such a nice style and very supportive. I would definitely recommend them!"

"I absolutely 100% LOVE my new Sideways sandals!!! I bought them from reading the reviews to be my ‘go to’ shoe for a 9 day cruise with stops in Italy and France. Average steps per day were 10 000 steps and these sandals did not disappoint!!! It felt like I had owned them for years. They are so comfortable and I’m so happy I bought them! You will not be disappointed!!"

Terrible Quality Control

"The left one fits great. The right one was sewn tighter at the baby toe causing a blister and strap across my ankle sits too far forward. When I wear them I get knee pain. Save your money."
