"There is so much to love about this shoe. The colour, the shape, the whole "works well with pants and skirts". I LOVE the arch support. The rest of the insole isn't my favourite as I find it quite hard and my feet, while feeling supported in the arch, get sore in the heels. My toes are sore after wearing them for hours as well, and my hope is that they "wear in" really nicely and become more comfortable over time, because I LOVE the look of them!"

"I bought these shoes because I love the canvas pair that I wore all over Scotland. I waterproofed them and then put them on to walk miles all over Chicago without breaking them in. No blisters, super comfortable, and beautiful. You get what you pay for."
"I bought this shoe in a size 8, I usually wear a size 7 but had previously bought in store this shoe in canvas and found I needed to size up one size. If I hadn't previously tried on an bought this shoe I would have ordered my normal size 7 and would have needed to return the shoe. The fit and comfort of this shoe is great"
"These are quality shoes, the leather is nice, but I want to warn folks that the footbed is quite stiff as well as the leather and contrary to other reviews these shoes do need to be broken in. The heel of the insert is also quite high so the heel feels a bit shallow. As others have said I needed to order a half size up and the wide version for my regular width feet to be comfortable. I did end up purchasing other inserts for casual walks as i like a little more cushion, but the included inserts still work well for longer walks and i think they will improve as they get broken in."

"I ordered the oyster color which looked like a pale pink online but it is actually more of a beige. The shoes came with a card saying the finish on these shoes can vary. I like them but they are not what I expected. The arch support feels good. They are a bit stiff but I anticipate they just need to be broken in. They appear to be very well made."
