Cute boots, hits ankle at odd place
"I like the look of these a lot but the ankle height is a bit awkward (puts some pressure in a weird place on the ankle). I'll still wear and enjoy them, but will have to make sure the laces are loose at the top to avoid having a mark at the ankles. (P. S. Wish Taos would offer more wide width shoes in the smaller sizes)"

"Absolutely beautiful boots! Love the color. First time ordering from Taos. I ordered wrong size on clearance. I was so worried about them not allowing me to exchange because it stated no exchanges on clearance. However, they have a first time forgiving exchange. I was so lucky and I got the right size in return. Make sure you know your size. Try on somewhere first if you can. If not they are true to your actual size. Don’t size up like people have suggested unless you have wide feet but in that case order wide. Well made boots and I also bought me another pair in Cognac color."

"Love the shoes - fit - support - color - BUT - there is a flaw in the dye on on the boot - close to where the laces begin. I took them to a shoemaker/cobbler and he said that there was nothing he could do to fix it. Very disappointing."
Shoe isn’t true to size
"I love this shoe. I’ve been looking at this shoe for a very long time and when I tried it on in Orleans shoe company in New Orleans, today a size 11 fit snug with my toe all the way to the front as if it was a size 9 1/2 or 10. Is it possible that you could make this shoe in a size 12 which I wear a 10 1/2 11 but the shoe isn’t true to size so I would have to go up to a size 12. It would be greatly appreciated."
