"I was hoping these shoes would be comfortable however the canvas is stiff and hurts the top of my foot. I have worm them 10 times already and they are not getting any better. It does have good arch support and they are very stylish. First time trying this brand and Im disappointed because I love all the other styles and was planning on buying more."
"I wanted a white sneaker that I could wear regular ankle height ankle socks with and not look dorky if I was wearing them with a dress and these are great (I like a thicker sock versus the thin no show socks). I love the classic look and am able to wear these with a skirt or sundress or of course pants. I have a lot of ankle/foot issues and these are very comfortable. I also spilled coffee on the left shoe the very first time I wore them and was able to clean it off thanks to the stain treatment!"
"This is my fifth pair of this style - 3 white, 1 green, and one gray. I love Taos shoes. I have had 17 pairs of the trophy sandal. The metatarsal Support is so important for the comfort of my feet, calves, legs, hips, and back. I wore this style of white canvas shoe to Europe for 12 days and walked 12,000 to 19,000 steps each day without any foot, leg, or back problems, which is a miracle for me. I bought my first pair with metatarsal Support after I wore some cute strap low heels to an Air Force and thought that I must've broken bones in my feet. I put psychiatrist didn't even mention metatarsal Support. I went into a shoe store for comfort and they recommended it. What a blessing in my life. I wear a Taos shoe every day."
"Overall, these shoes are great-good arch and heel support, lightweight, and go with most outfits. I find Taos to run about a half size shorter than other brands. I’m also feeling like the eyelets are rubbing the top of my foot, but I think in time it won’t be a problem as the shoe softens."
"My feet are a half size different. I generally wear a 7 to fit the larger foot. These were too short for the larger foot. I have a AA heal so the the narrowness in the heal was nice but the narrowness of the rest of the shoe, especially the toe box, made them too uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I bought these on clearance so I cannot return them. I have other Taos shoes that I love, so am very disappointed in these and will not be purchasing items that cannot be turned again."
"I have metatarsalgia, and Taos is one of the only brand i can wear. These shoes are so cute and supportive! They are a little stiff at first, but they do get more flexible as you wear them. I have tried sizing up, but they fit better in the long run if I stick with my normal size."
"I wish I would’ve bought a pair that I could return/exchange. Unfortunately, they are not comfortable to walk in. I think I needed a style that’s a little wider. My pinky toes tend to rub and my feet eventually start to ache :("
"I am usually an 8, but sized up to an 8 1/2. They are comfortable, but definitely a bit stiff before breaking them in. I highly recommend them for their great arch support!"
"By "comfort" the mean the insole is shaped for extra arch support. Would be nice just to say that since that is NOT comfortable for everyone. Now I'm stuck with shoes that are meh with different insoles, not the comfort level advertised. Had they been forthright in the description from the beginning I would have known they wouldn't be for me. Positive note, I like the grey canvas wash color."
