"This is a great shoe. Good heal and ankle support. I wear flatter shoes mostly and I wanted 1 pr higher that I could walk in safely. I have 4 pairs Taos shoes. The leather stretches and then they are too wide. This pair, the buckle is just for show. You cannot tighten them enough in front. They're good now but in a month or so my food will slide through the front"
"Great fit! I wasn’t sure if the height of this sandal was going to throw me off balance (I’m a senior) but they didn’t! As they are wider than my foot, I had to adjust the straps. (so happy for the Velcro) I was able to walk for quite a distance on uneven terrain and even dance in them! I’m very pleased with this purchase."
"I like the style but they don’t fit well and I didn’t return them soon enough. The side of the hard footbed gouges the outside of my foot. They are awkward to put on and the velcro does adjust tightly enough. There is velcro on both the toe area and the foot strap. Don’t like it in either location. A buckle would have worked better for the toe strap."
"These are lovely looking shoes. I have several pairs of TAOS shoes, but this is the only one that is less than 100% comfortable. It actually hurts my small toe on the right foot quite a lot. Disappointing for sure."
"LOVE LOVE these too! I bought them in the deep brown shade. They definitely get attention in the best way! The foot bed is perfection and I feel like I am on solid ground and supported, which is amazing for a wedge. For context, in sandals, my foot is 24. 1Cm and size 8 in Taos sandals fit perfectly. I also love that I can adjust the toe and ankle straps easily. Nothing beats the quality of Taos sandals. And if you see a pair you like on sale but never ordered from them before, take a chance because they sell out quickly. I love these shoes and so worth the risk! And I should mention that I also bought other sandal styles and the size 8 fit in all of them. But I will mention that in their closed toe footwear, I do need a size 9-9. 5. The size 9 fit comfortably except they can be a little tight at the toe tip, so if there is an option, I would go to 9. 5."
