"I wish I could compare the 8.5 with a 9. I usually wear an 8.5 but my toes are close to the end toe part of these shoes. I hate sending things back. I’m truly hoping I will enjoy these shoes . I haven’t needed them yet. I’m still wearing sandals."

"I have several pairs of the Taos boots and sneakers however this was my first pair of loafers. They are excellent! Beautiful cognac color, quality leather and no break-in period (just like the boots). I’m looking forward to wearing them all over France!"
Attractive and Stylish Loafers
"I have about 12 pair of Taos shoes, sandals, and slippers, all size 7. My dearly loved old Taos loafers finally needed to be replaced (and that style was discontinued), so decided to try Gabby. The cognac color is great. When I first put them on, they felt really tight! I was about to return them, but decided to give them another try. I am such a dunce! There was another piece of cardboard which I had neglected to remove! Presto! Instant fit! 😁. They do run a tad on the short side, but that will ease with a bit of wearing. I have a bad bunion on my right foot, so any change of shoes takes me a few days to adjust to. I will be ordering another pair in black!"
Comfortable and great color!
"At first, I could feel my big toe against the shoe (not in a painful way) but after wearing for a few hours, I didn't notice at all sine the shoes were so very comfortable on. I do think a half size up might be too big all over, but hard to tell without trying on. However, if you are planning on wearing socks, it might not be a bad idea to try half size up, the cognac color is beautiful and works with many different colors of denim and pants. I have pretty normal feet but for a small bunion on my right foot that wasn't bothered at all by the shoe. The shoe is very soft."

"Shoes arrived well Packaged. I didn't care for style so I never even tried them on. I returned them to fed ex. Currently waiting for Taos to credit my credit card."
