"These were suprisingly very comfortable right out of the box. Based on other reviews of the leather breaking down quickly, I applied leather conditioner before wearing them. So far the leather has performed as expected. The sandals look great with shorts, pants, and sundresses. I wear 7. 5m and the 8 is just barely long enough, so I think they run slightly short."
"This shoe is great because it's a thong-style that looks like a dressier slide. The metatarsal pad isn't as supportive on the soft footbed as it is on the cork footbeds, so I will probably stick with the Perfect sandal in the future. Usually wear a 7. 5 and ordered an 8. The length fits great, but I wish they were more narrow."
"I typically do not wear thong/slide sandals anymore because of the pressure it puts on my 2nd toe. Really liked the look of the Gift 2 and decided to try it due to the amount of coverage over the top of the foot. I love them! There was no flop when walking, still had great arch support while having a nice amount of cushion - almost like wearing a slipper. Another pair added to my Taos collection of shoes!"
"So far I have had to exchange twice. The white gift 2 are wider than the champagne colour I have and I have had to abandon trying to get a white pair that fits properly. I am now going to try black for a good fit. I don't think having to pay for insurance to make exchanges or returns is good business practice. Just make shows which are consistent in manufacturing and advertize the exact measurements so people aren't left guessing."

"I am very happy with my Gift 2. I've been wanting to buy some Taos sandals for a long time, but always put it off due to expense. I do think they are a great sandal, not perfect, but very good and very comfortable. I love it when it is not necessary to "break in" a new pair of shoes. These were comfortable from the minute I put them on."
