"I’m having a hard time finding the right fit for these very cute shoes. It seems also to be exacerbating my arch pain and heel pain. Additionally, because they’re high tops and leather they rub against the ankles in an uncomfortable way."

"I had the thinner sole version of these before and loved them, and because Taos doesn’t sell those anymore, I purchased these thicker soled ones expecting the same comfort. These are NOT comfortable. They dig into my ankle, are incredibly stiff, and don’t feel like quite the same arch support. I’m really disappointed about this purchase, especially since they cost nearly $200. Not sure what happened to the fit and quality here. It’s an expensive bummer. :/"
"I'm hooked on Winner for life: Excellent quality, stylish, and supportive in the ankles as well as the arches. This is my third pair overall, now that the black and steel pairs I got more than 5 years ago (and wear constantly) are beat up and being retired to yard shoes because they're still ridiculously comfortable. This color is a gorgeous chestnut and very work-appropriate. These are true to size, and if you're deciding between two, I would go a half-size down. I wear between an 8 and 8. 5, and my old pairs are size 8. I ultimately decided to keep these in 8. 5 because my feet are a bit wide and they have more room overall from the get-go, but they definitely feel longer in the toe than the size 8 I just got in Steel, so I have to be mindful so that I don't catch the toe when I walk. Both pair fit the same way in the arches, which is why I kept both. The Steels are snug but not uncomfortably so, and I'm looking forward to both pairs molding to my feet like my old ones have."
